Setting the agenda and priorities for communication management is a key starting point for every organisation.
ComMap© helps a management team to get on the same page regarding:

- It is a great way to ‘level set’ thinking and get the team to come to a consensus
- We use a facilitated approach that starts with visual mapping to set the agenda
- Mapping is at three levels – proximity, size and colour – that reflects importance, influence and attitude
- Then hard numbers are part of the outcomes from ComMap©, making even the most numerate happy with the analysis of priorities set
- Those numbers allow for budget allocation, privatisation and more analyses against priorities
- They also allow for comparative evaluation over time to demonstrate progress and evolution of priorities.

We recommend an initial values and issues assessment survey from which a gap analysis is undertaken – the gap between management intentions and audience perceptions – and the development of an action plan to bridge any gap. This tool becomes an integral part of the essential feedback loop that is fundamental to two-way communication and engagement.
