2 hours later...done...!! |
A new lick of paint...During their half term 80 conference delegates offered some 200 hours of free labour to redecorate the school, including the main hall, classrooms, public areas and some of the external recreation areas. ICI helped with the paints and the client delegates did the painting as part of their remit to give something back to the community. So having had a full day's presentations at a local hotel training venue, also managed by MCA Directors, the delegates hopped on a double decker bus to the school giving it an amazing 2-hour make over!

The teams raised over £6,000 for the Sunshade Skin Cancer appeal in just a over one morning! This was just part of their experience.

By the time the first conference session eventually started, the audience was in open revolt. And even when pyrotechnics and a spoof news video announced the Oracle delegates had all been killed by a mysterious explosion, most attendees were still not having it. They really were not enjoying this experience from hell.
“It’s taking it to the brink, and then just stepping temporarily over the line”, reckons Clynes from MCA, “that gives shows the edge”. Only when the grieved guests were rejected from “Hell” and invited into “Heaven”, to be met by a bevy of serving angels bearing champagne, did they realise they had been well and truly “had”.
“Never treat your customers like we treated you” was the message of the morning before delegates got to real grips with what Customer Service should be all about.

Workshops and Seminars
We offer a full range of classroom and workshop sessions as well as the more experimental "in the field" sessions or a mix of both. PLUS here's some more ideas for you...
1. "Shop Floor Piccy"
Participants imagine they are on the shop floor, walking around a display of their products. While doing this, they brainstorm ways to improve packaging.
2. "Go to School"
Participants and facilitator visit a location where their products are used. For example, a company that produces school equipment might walk around a school for inspiration and perform the ideation inside a classroom.
3. "Sound and Vision !! "
Participants and facilitator visit a busy, unrelated location in order to be inspired by the activities and sounds in the background. Such sessions could be held in a busy shopping mall or city parks.
4 "BrainTrain"
Run a brainstorming event in a train carriage on a moving train.
