The Key Steps in the Process

1. Understand the key issues

2. Meet the key people - senior management, HR team etc.

3. Establish the main questions

4. What sort of questionnaire is most appropriate: pc based, paper based or telephone - normally 50 questions to take around 10 to 15 minutes, with one or two final questions allowing comments

5. Plan for confidentiality - it is crucial staff feel and recognise this is achieved

6. Create a network of champions especially if there are a number of sites
