Economi Solutions announce partnership with Ecoisland Community Interest Company Ecoisland today announced a new partnership with Economi Solutions suppliers of low cost, low carbon footprint office printers and printer supplies. Their aftermarket products offer customers very short-term contracts, ability to change equipment at any time without penalty and all brands or printers and supplies. Up to 60% carbon footprint savings can be made on toners according to a recent survey by UKCRA the cartridge industry trade association. The partnership aims to assist local firms with supply of recycled cartridges as well as offering servicing contracts to Island firms.
Ecoisland CIC aims to make the Isle of Wight the first sustainable region in the UK and is working on a wide range of sustainable energy projects including Solar PV. Geothermal, tidal and wind power; all of these renewables are likely to have hydrogen or battery storage as well as being connected together with smart grid technologies.
