Fluvial Innovations Customer Case Study

| FLOODSTOP in use with the Environment Agency |
The Task
- Input into the Marketing Plan
- Provide marketing hands-on support
- Help sell the product
Fluvial Innovations Limited
A mobile flood barrier produced by an engineering design graduate Simon Phelps MD of this start-up company backed by Bournemouth University with board members including the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Contracts Expert from Oxford University and commercial investors. DTi investment and orders from the Environment Agency, local authorities and private households are testament to the quality of the product. Like all good ideas it needed exposure and marketing.
Market
Properties or business exposed to flooding specifically where fast response is needed by local authorities and those affected. Replacement for sandbags is a key opportunity as they are costly, unsustainable, and take a long time to put in place. They are also far more expensive than FLOODTOP.
